Benoliel Speech and Language is easily one of the best SLP clinics in the Seattle area. My son’s language has progressed farther than we ever dared dream. Jennifer and Sally are enthusiastic, honest, compassionate, kind, highly knowledgeable, motivating and above all, caring. I work in a closely related field and have met scores of SLPs – you will not find two more capable, seasoned, and dedicated women. Both not only work well with children but are able to assist families with resources, school planning, family therapy and so much more. Their flexibility with scheduling, promptness in seeing patients, and thorough documentation is downright refreshing. Another big bonus is their wonderful collection of captivating toys – my son always looks forward to his “playtime” at Benoliel Speech and Language. The clinic space is clean, bright, quiet, and has a comfortable waiting area with toys for siblings. Parking is easy and the clinic is conveniently located. We will never be able to thank them enough for giving our son the vital gift of language and communication. Whenever discouragement rears we always find new hope and great ideas just waiting for us. Thank you Jennifer and Sally for all you do!

Back in December 2014, Dylan came to Benoliel Speech and Language not really talking a whole lot. Jennifer was the first to diagnosis Dylan with speech apraxia. For the next 3 years, Jennifer and Jill not only brought him out of his verbal cage but also helped me make decisions along the way regarding Dylan’s educational needs and personal growth. For 3 years they have been part of my village, and I am forever grateful. Thank you ladies for everything and so much more.

When our son Matthew first started with Jennifer he was 2.5yrs old and he had no words. He was diagnosed with Apraxia of speech and Autistic. It was so hard for me to believe one day Matthew would actually talk. Before I knew it, Matthew started to imitate sounds, then the words started to form. He is now 4yrs old and has graduated from Speech Therapy! We worked with Jennifer, Ruth and Jill. Words will never be able to express our gratitude for what they have done for Matthew and our family. They made us feel like family in the way they truly cared for Matthew and wanted to see him succeed. I remember a year ago when Jill worked extremely hard with Matthew in order for him to surprise me and say “I love you” for the first time on Mothers Day. That will be a moment I will never forget! Thank you so much Jill, you hold a special place in our family’s hearts! Matthew is a different boy today because of the entire staff at Benoliel Speech and Language. We thank you for all that you do!

Jennifer has been working with my son since the time he was two years old. She has taken a young toddler with a vocabulary of less than 10 words to a preschooler who never stops talking. Along the way, she has kept me informed of his therapy progress and provided me with activities to work on at home. She has been extremely collaborative with my son’s pediatrician, his occupational therapist and his preschool teachers. All of them have commented on her professionalism and her excellent evaluations and written documentation. However, of primary importance to me as a mom, my son is always excited and eager to work with Jennifer. Even when working on challenging tasks, she engages him in such a way that he feels successful. She makes the hard work FUN. On a more personal note, she has relieved my mommy anxiety on many occasions and always takes the time to respond to my notes and answer my questions. As an early childhood psychologist I have worked with many therapists over the years and Jennifer is always my first recommendation for referrals. She’s the therapist I trust with my own precious child.

Our family has seen first-hand the sensitivity, skill, creativity, and compassion that Jennifer Benoliel brings to her clients. When our 19 month old son started with Jennifer, he only had a handful of words, well behind the typical milestones for his age. Not only did Jennifer help our son to overcome this obvious challenge, she also had the insight to suggest additional evaluations that revealed other developmental issues at a young age. We will be forever grateful for her willingness to share her concerns with us as we were able to start working on those issues while his brain was still developing. While our son still faces many challenges, his ability to communicate with us, his teachers, and his peers is a critical foundation for future success. Words cannot express our extreme joy when at age 4, our son was finally able to tell us—“I love you”.

When our son first visited Jennifer’s practice 5 years ago, his only word was a high-pitched squeal. At that time we had no diagnosis for our boy, but we knew he wasn’t developing like most young boys. With guidance and suggestions from Jennifer and wonderful one-on-one time between Jennifer and our son, Aaron has blossomed in his communication skills. The ongoing communication between Jennifer, Aaron’s school SLP, and our family has been a true blessing. We strongly believe in Jennifer’s character and services, and we give her the highest recommendation to anyone considering using the services of an SLP.

When our daughter Natalie was 2 1/2 weeks old she contracted pertussis and was on full life support and in the hospital for her 1st three months of life. Because she went without oxygen several times during her illness, we were unaware of the complications that would follow. When she was 2 1/2 years old she only had a handful of words and we began speech therapy three times a week with Sally and Jill. She was diagnosed with a speech delay and we had no idea how quickly she would learn to speak with the help of these fabulous therapists. Sally and Jill were always there to address any concerns and always made it “playtime” for our daughter. Natalie couldn’t get out of the car fast enough whenever we pulled in the driveway. Benoliel Speech and Language is such a knowledgeable, warm and loving practice. After nine months of therapy, Natalie has officially graduated. She went from a very quiet 2 1/2 year old with very few words to a non-stop talking three year old. Her teachers at school are blown away by her progress. I have several friends who have children in need of speech therapy, and I never hesitate to refer them to Sally and Jill! They are awesome!

Jill’s services have been extremely beneficial to us, especially because they are personal and customized. They are more natural like family coaching rather than just going over a piece of curriculum. Her recommendations have been truly wonderful. I think all of us view Jill as something more than an therapist, and our son views her more as his family. “The bond that links a true family is not the one of blood but of love in each others’ lives.”
